A wood and copper  frame surrounds hand made terra cotta tiles of nature's leaves, plants, and/or bugs.
Frame is backed  with 2strap hangers for easy and level hanging.

The tiles for each mirror are made by creating one large slab "frame" of terra cotta clay.
Images are into or added onto the clay "frame".
As the clay becomes firm, it is cut into individual tiles.  Edges of each tile are smoothed and
rounded and each tile is numbered on the back so it can be placed in the proper sequence when
finished. The tiles are then allowed to dry slowly.
After the tiles have been bisque fired (the first firing) multiple layers of glaze are painted on each tile by hand. 
The tiles are fired a second time to reveal the color and the shine of the glazes.
Tiles are then permanently attached to the frame and the mirror is attached in the center.

Each base is hand worked, welded steel rod of various sizes with tendrils and cast leaves.
Bases are painted with a satin finish metal paint.
